<What's New> (besides the new layout, plus registered users now have their own wiki space.
This is a wiki space for users of plogue bidule. The goal is to flesh out the manual's sometimes cryptic descriptions with more useful tips and links on how to use particular groups, bidules, and layouts.
The space is courtesy of Rich Rath. Check out his music, some of it made with bidule.
The manual is here. The idea is to expand on it, providing specific ways of using bidule, and what all the ins, outs, and settings do, perhaps pointing to examples. The main chapter that will need work is chapter 4, Bidules. We just added a page on mouse and keyboard shortcuts, including a neat mouse trick not in the regular manual yet. There are several great tutorials on bidule. We need contributors of examples?, links?, general discussions, and a FAQ if you have time. registering only takes a minute. Share what you know. .
If you know part of what a bidule does but not everything, put in what you know and then mark the stuff you don't know with "~!@" (no quotes) .Then if anyone wants to know what entries need attention, they can search for "~!@" without the quotes and help edit those pages. Of course you can ignore this page (i.e., HomePage) in the search results.
You can mark your suggestions for improvement of bidules with "sggs" (no quotes), so that developers can search for "sggs" without the quotes, should they want to know what suggestions have been made. Developers can remove these again when they either make the suggested changes or decide it is never going to happen.
There is a file gallery for layouts and bidules. If you are registered, you can upload there and also edit the wiki. I am thinking of the file gallery as sort of a place for testing out not ready for prime time bidules and layouts on a temporary basis before they go on the main bidule site.
If you need help with the wiki formatting, see the help button at the bottom of the page in any editing window.
